Community Outreach provides a specialist service for Deaf clients requiring support. Here at Deaf Empowering Network we are passionate about making a difference within the Deaf and wider communities. As a Deaf-led organisation we are strong allies not only for the Deaf community, continually championing new initiatives and ideas, we are also working hard to ensure that the hearing communities are given the opportunities to develop their BSL skills and expand their knowledge of Deaf culture.
Our vision is to create a platform where opportunities are accessed regardless of language, Deaf or hearing culture, to create a space in time where everyone is regarded and treated as equal.
Since our launch in 2021 we have been fortunate enough to be part of many community projects, including Digital Deaf Training, bespoke Deaf Awareness sessions and local in-vision projects to name but a few.
